Ode to a cupcake

While in Indianapolis over the weekend, my mom introduced us to the wonderfulness that is The Flying Cupcake Bakery. Now, I live in NYC, land of 100 gourmet cupcake stores, and none of them are even HALF as good as the cupcakes we had from Flying Cupcake.These little babies are called the "Red Velvet Elvis," a red velvet cupcake with chocolate chips and cream cheese icing. As midwesterners, we're picky about our red velvet. But this was A-MA-ZING. I could eat one every day. Maybe it's good I live far, far away.
